I still didn't go out or buy anything anywhere. We had a family visit underway, which was part of it, but I also simply don't enjoy the risk to my person or vehicle with the way people drive in the parking lots and adjacent streets around malls and large stores. I've always held that anyone who drives into the Walmart lot (including me) looses about 20 IQ points just for proximity to the store.
