I’ve always liked the verse of the shanty “Haul Away Joe” that goes:

Oh,Louis was the king of France before the revolution (Away, Haul Away… etc)
And then he got his head cut off, which spoiled his constitution (Away… etc)

And like to occasionally make up topical ones like this:

Oh, Donald was the President until the last election (Away, Haul Away… etc)
And when the votes were counted up he planned an insurrection (Away…)

He wouldn’t leave the White House and it made for much excitement (Away…)
We sent him off the Florida, at least ‘til his indictment (Away…)

… or this one:

Oh, Elon was the richest man, he made electric cars-oh (Away…)
He blew it all on Twitter, now he’ll never get to Mars-oh (Away…)
