I live in California, where the death penalty is the law but the Democratic governors won't authorize it. I am surrounded by people who think that it would be an abomination to abolish the death penalty. I'm sure happy our governors have prevailed.
But it's scary to think that I live around people who believe in "the ritualistic, cold-blooded killing of another human being."
