It was crystal clear from Question Time tonight that Labour, incomprehensibly, is supporting the Tory view on Shamima Begum, supporting her banishment. Labour, serially, is acting not on principle but is trying to calculate the electoral impact of every move it makes. Not only is this pusillanimous approach detestable, it's the time-honoured way of how to lose elections.
