Not to mention that the corresponding lines (i.e., the first lines) in the other verses are:
"On a warm summer evening,
On a train bound for nowhere"
"He said, Son I've made a life,
Of reading people's faces"
"Every gambler knows,
The secret to surviving"
"And when he finished speaking,
He turned back to the window"
I think someone doesn't understand how rhyme works - and it's not the writer of The Gambler .....
