doo wop is a form of music from the black usa singing that started in the late 40s. i think the first song to class as a type of music was its too soon to know by the orioles for folk who don't know who they were in 1948 they recorded this song getting to number 1 in the r'mb charts in that year. the ink spots and the mills brothers and the toppers and the lusis brunole 5 and others are not to be called this music. where the other side of music in the 1950s came in to this started in 1954 with shboom by the chords went to number 1 in the doo wop charts and 3 in the pop charts in 1954. this meant that pop singers wood cover what ever they could find if it is rnb country ore usa folk songs. i have this album my self of the songs who ever said in my collection. from joe
