Fib, I have the Tull albums Heavy Horses and Benefit. Still can't get into them. Which is usually saying something to be, since I usually love everything the 1st time I hear it. In the last 2 weeks, I've bought 5 albums by groups that I either know one song, or nothing, that they sing. And I've loved them all.

Oasis holds a special place in my heart, since I pretty much "hated" any kind of rock & roll, until my younger sister played "Champagne Supernova" for me. And that's when I started to delve into rock. I knew if one song could convert a strictly country/classical/musicals guy into a rock lover, that they MUST be special. And they've only gotten better with time. Noel's new beautiful unreleased outtakes from Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants are excellent...they show a real maturity. And you can't appreciate what a nice voice Noel has until you hear him sing "This Guy's In Love With You". Absolutely heartbreaking.

And yes, I'm a Gomez junkie, and I've only had Bring It On since last Wednesday!!! I'm gonna pick up Abandoned Trolley Shopping Line coupled with the Machismo EP. I love 'Shitbag 9'.

Today I got Parklife by Blur and picked up the "Turn" single by Travis, the one that has the acoustic cover of Britney Spears' "Hit Me Baby One More Time" from VH1 Storytellers.

Check out my Gomez plug on "non-folk CDs" thread!

Gonna leave this planet, gonna head out the galaxy! GET MILES!
