As posted to Any June Songs; 2 June; On this day in 1740, the Marquis de Sade, a French aristocrat whose lifestyle gave rise to the word sadism, was born in Paris.

The medley consists of the songs HOMAGE TO MARAT,MARAT WE’RE POOR, PEOPLE’S REACTION, POOR OLD MARAT. Recorded at Sound Techniques Studios, London, England. Released November 1966. "Members of The Young Tradition (Peter Bellamy, Royston Wood and Heather Wood) and myself, Hans Fried, helped Judy out on the second chorus. Great memory."
