For the time being, the weather here
has settled into a monsoon pattern.
We have brilliant morning sunshine,
intense noon-time heat,
and afternoon downpours with lightning and thunder.

And the mosquitoes are so numerous you can't avoid them,
even indoors . . . (swat)
