The were quoting a Tweet by a "Seamus Heaney" and the transcriber and/or sub-editor took it at face value that it was one and the same. Obviously been redacted after many howls of derision from readers.

The Tweet is from the Seamus Heaney @HeaneyDaily account, which describes itself as "A daily quote from the poetry, prose & translations of Seamus Heaney, Nobel Laureate in Literature." Whoever runs that account could have been a little more circumspect.

Surprise, surprise, it appears Sky News also quoted it....
