Guest: That would be Homer & Jethro. The exact lyrics they sang are posted above in this thread. Most of what they performed were parodies of current popular songs--sorta like the Wierd Al Yankovic of their day, but with a country twang. "Homer" Haynes played guitar and "Jethro" Burns played mandolin. They were also excellent instrumentalists.
