Subject: RE: Origins:John Brown's Body/ Battle Hymn of Republic
john browns body is a song that can't trace a propers writer's in at all. on a part of first origins one says wiliam stef an 1840s fighter says he wrote the song but that will never be known at all when folks of the usa liked the tune too much juea ward how wrote her battle hymn song the folks knew it more. in 1912 the world wanted to around and in 1914 a writer and man of speaking out called ralph chaplin wrote new words called solidarity forever meaning we folks get back strong. the recording artist folk singers like the song so much but a trace will never be heard until 1941 when alun lomax saw chaplin saying thankyou for this set of words. when the almanac singers got the song to be recording the young pete seger was so great about it one says pete heard the john browns body so much ralph chaplin singers like woody guthrie sung and played there own instraments and that story does not end. when the song of john brown got to britain many folk liked the tune but one says the first british song was called song for suffolk written so in 1911 or before. i need to know who you are. i did a recording of the john brown's song on a recording album that was recorded in 10 just before my own band braveheart started. the tune was sung so many times at the blind school but i think if i was there i would like solidarity forever to be sung. one friend that love the tune was a boy i new called john shanks. one set of words said john you stop sing what its the matter with you today i will send my songs to ever they may stay. no one knows who wrote that. on telling the story of the first 19th century song for this is a great song i like to revue more. if you want more on this song and the others that are to the same tune i can try and find some from my alexa thanks
