Sorry to report, but I have recently read twice (in separate places) on Facebook that Julia Jones, long time partner of Nic Jones and keeper of the flame of his music alive via Mollie Music (www.nicjones.net) passed away recently. I have no other information regarding this but possibly others have. I never met Julia in person but she was always cordial in recent correspondence we had regarding some of Nic's early recordings.

In a discussion of one of Nic's performed songs "The Isle of St. Helena", Julia mentioned that her great great grandmother was born there!

Presuming that the above is correct, my sincere condolences to the Jones household, and maybe others on this list have more information.
