Our Sal's new bonnet
Ee it were a rare un
It 'ad a wreath o' roses reight ran'd crown
An a feather straight down 't back
Last Sunday our Sal went to t' church
All t' foaks stood up and laughed
Ha ha ha
And t'parson sez "Eh missis, this in't a flower show
It's a place o'worship"
So our Sal roils up 'er sleeves
An' sez "'Ey passon, tha 'ed's bowd!
Nowt in it, nowt on it
Dus ta want a feather out o' my new bonnet"
