Damn! Every time I'm in Oklahoma City, I keep meaning to go to that cowboy museum. It looks so interesting. The banjo museum looks interesting, too. I'll do 'em next time I drive Route 66, but I'll stay in nearby El Reno and eat onion burgers and Coneys with slaw.

When I was researching for copyright permissions for the Rise Again Songbook, I had trouble with songs that had connections to Harry McClintock. Word has it that the McClintock estate vigorously defends their claim to rights for a number of songs that may or may not have been written by McClintock, so we'd be better off just to pay the royalties and buy a license, whether or not the claim was legitimate. But there are a lot of songs attributed to McClintock where I question attribution.
