The numbers are meaningless. But media companies want eyeballs and advertisers and they go with the Trump nonsense because they get the ratings. They didn't learn their lesson in 2016, but so many people know what he is up to now that even though his supporters are noisy and brash and out there for the Iowa event, it really doesn't add up to anything.
