I’m another fan of Gnu - a lovely, talented, intelligent man and great company, as Jennyo and I discovered via the famous Mudcat Chatroom. I too have shifted to Facebook and kept on contact with him there. I share the sadness and admiration for him, and am glad there is a fitting Mudcat memorial to him via this thread and the links to his quirky humour.
