sequel comment: Having read now what others have said about "student sent down in his prime" it must be the same song as we used to sing in the bar in Peterhouse, Cambridge in the early 70s, along with Red Fly the Banners O! etc. I do my best to forget those 3 years, and remember the happier times before and after, but the songs were (mostly) a good memory...Alan
