Thanks. I'll think that one over. Although I do Wordle every morning, I'm not aware of any 'hidden' revelations in order to do a solve. The New York Times has other puzzles, and the one that gets my serious attention is CONNECTIONS, which starts with a 4 x 4 of what appears to be random words. They need to be sorted into 4 groups of 4.
Which I mostly can do, but by no means not everytime. This morning and yesterday morning, I was able to get 2 correct groups together, but not the remaining two.the

When I'm staring at the group of words my conscious mind is not even befuddled. It's just sort of a 'DUH' moment. Then I see what might be a relationship worth pursuing. You get a total of four mistakes, the fourth mistake is 'bye-bye'. It does do one interesting thing. If you select four items and hit 'submit' if three of them go together there is a brief message that you are 'one away'. This can make thigs better. Or worse.
