Dave, I'm watching for offers right now because my internet provider is about to raise the price (after a 2 year "offer" expires). They have real competition now (though it is always a nuisance to switch companies and probably change out some of my equipment - I always buy my own, I don't rent from the provider.) It seems that fiber optic is finally arriving and the question is - is it faster, or will I notice a difference if it is? (Long gone are the dial-up or DLS standard delays. Now the lag time may be crap the browser is trying to parse or throttling by the company itself.)
