I'd known Dick for almost 50 years. We'd met at a house concert in Baltimore in 1975. He and Nan were good friends and my wife and I miss them.

Dick was a wonderful singer and a fine musician with a great repertoire. He played concertina, accordion, guitar, banjo and he also had a couple of digeridoos in his house that he probably dabbled with.

Nan died the day after Thanksgiving in 2023. Dick a month and a half later. She too was a fine singer and sang for a long time with the Quasimodal Chorus in Camden, Maine.
