As a teenager I ran away from home to hear Patrick Sky at Carnagie Hall. As an adult I got to know Patrick when he came to Baltimore to gather with the East Coast Pipers. For two of these meetings he stayed in our home, the second time Cathy visited too and they played a concert at the local Waldorf school. He listened to my versions of his songs, and offered a few corrections, and he cooked us Chili - beautiful memories - but the most remarkable of all was one morning he picked up the guitar and played "Great Dream from Heaven" a tune by Joe Spence. That morning was truly my great dream of heaven.
