Ian Anderson wrote on Facebook: "More sad news, this time from Ken Keppeler, of the passing on Saturday of Jeanie McLerie, his long time partner in New Mexico's Bayou Seco and before that a popular UK resident in the American duo Sandy & Jeanie in the 1960s. I recently scanned this pic from Sidmouth 1995 of Ken, Jeanie and Frannie Leopold - Bayou Seco & the Delta Sisters. Lovely people."

I saw Jeanie and Ken a few times at Llantrisant Folk Club, many years ago. I really loved their music - but I always will remember 'Waltzing with Bears'! RIP Jeanie.
