My position made things awkward. Because of where the cyst was on my scalp, the procedure could not be done with me lying down. So they had me sitting up with no back support, my legs dangling over the side, and the nurse leaning right into me to keep me, I suppose, from jumping off the table and running away. I was more nervous and anxious than I needed to be, it was very brief.
So now I have to be careful how I lie on it in my sleep, and otherwise leave it alone and wait until the sutures come out.
