Pubs in decline.... is it because they are more interested in putting up large screen TV to watch some banal football match rather than looking after their bet and clientele. I have worked in bars as a youngster and even spent 5 years as a licensee. When I started if you did not get to know your regulars and their drinks you didn’t last long. I could look at the clock, check the time and start pouring a pint knowing a certain customer was coming through the door.
