A wee correction to Gerry M’s post from 24th July 2021 re “Now Westlin Winds”. (Missed it at the time!) It should be: Now Westlin’ winds and slaughterin’ guns Bring AUTUMN’S pleasant weather (Not August’s). The only time that August is mentioned is in the alternative title “Song Composed in August”. All correct in the linked text in mainly Norfolk.
