I had a spark of recognition when I saw Joe Offer's recent post with a link to a recording by Joseph Spence. Unlike Lord Kitchener, whose music I've had some familiarity with for a good many years, I don't recall hearing of Joseph Spence (1910-1984) until a few days ago.
