Our Sal got a new bonnet the other day
Ee, it aint half a right one
With a wreath of roses round the brim and a feathers right down the back.

Our Sal went to church on Sunday
Parson said Ee Sal, this aint a flower show, this is a place of worship

Our Sal got right mad
Taint like thy bald head, she said
Now in it, nowt on it
Wouldst thou like a feather from my hat to cover it?
