where is Hunsley Slack? Something came up (in a different parish) with an inscription on a boundary stone delineating the boundary of Hunsley. Which is probably High Hunsley, which doesn't seem to have any old coal mines. Assuming slack refers to a spoil heap laced with coal too small to be of much use. Slack was a usual word for coal that is almost &/or dust, in South Staffs. TIA
