He was a good man. I wish we could find only good people to serve as President of the United States.

The New York Times has an excellent obituary. I read about half of it aloud to my wife, but it was so long that I couldn't finish reading it all. If you can get past the paywall, it's a good read:

Rest in peace, Jimmy. You were a friend to all.
