Time to most people is a clock wise flow. Some people treat time like a resource. Physicists see time as a dimension and a few see time as a field like gravity that is altered by mass.
Suppose there is a way to alter time by technology which also affects space. A million years from now is more than enough 'time' to make that discovery. It seems to me some UFOs use an altered time drive to make such anti-inertial turns at high speed.
