That's more-or-less a tautology for certain parts of the coding trade.* I used to use the facility (affliction?) as part of the education-through-humour method: a jest helps things stick in the mind, even if only because they stick in the throat. For two jobs running, I ended up as Departmental Pun Slinger; these days, I perpetrate filk.

* I've given up attempting to correct people who think "hacker" means "scum". Grrr (*sigh*).
