I bought Thomastik Infeld. It's quite a while ago, and Lord knows what guitar I had at the time (I've had so many)
But I keep a record of what strings I use and it says there was only one set bought by me - ever. That may or may not say anything about what I thought of them.
But these days I mostly stick with D'Addario, Elixir and Martin.
I've heard good things about Newtone but never tried 'em. Maybe I should.
