The new voter ID registration laws in the wings are going to reduce the number of voters among DEI folks. For example women who changed their names upon marriage will not qualify because their birth certificate name is different. The office that would handle this will be understaffed or absent. Citizens overseas will also have greater impediments, including service members. States already have the means to purge black people from the voter rolls.
