This thread requires me to tell another Walt Robertson story. I am totally color blind, meaning that I don't see colors. This has never been a problem in my life, until I come in contact with other humans, which does happen sometimes! During my single years, and just when Walt had retired from the University of Hawaii and returned to the Northwest,we spent much time together. I called him once and invited him over for the weekend. I told him that I had an agenda, but it would be a surprise. After a couple of days of wine, women and song, that Sunday afternoon I dumped out three boxes of my soxes, and asked him to match the colors. After a couple of hours, I had several wearable (apparently) pairs of socks, and two boxes of garbage. He tried to give me a ration of garbage, but he did admitt that his sock drawers could use the same assistance!Today, I have learned to buy socks in two colors ... you guess what they are! I REALLY solved the problem by marrying bride Judy ... she's an artist!
