Well I was at a folk festival watching Morris dancing when my herring gull disaster happened.

And there is a nice jig tune called “The Seagull”. Could maybe start a new thread on the subject of songs and tunes with birds in them? There are about 8 or 9 in Robert Burns’ “Now Westlin’ Winds”. But it may have been done before?
