Whall is, hands down, the one and only and most authoritative source for San Franciscan hog-eye barge and has been that for over a century. Nobody or bot can match him… yet.

But... have readers and audiences been getting their U.S. History lessons from a book of shanties for working shantymen or forebitters for landsmen? Fiction or non...???
