Well that's a new one, getting skunked inside one's house! Reckon a skunk came in through the dog door?

I got hours of hoeing and weeding in yesterday because it was a rare overcast and coolish day. Unnerved because the tarantula emerged to make her rounds just as I began. Trying to figure out where her den is, apparently it's just inside a solid perimeter fence, so to do her hunting she has to pass near my front door. That's better than the 'she wants to come in' theory. Gives me the creeps, and I wouldn't mind exterminating especially if she's going to be raising a brood, but I'll try to be patient if you say she's defense against worse pests. Though orange-size insects are very hard to get used to.

Then I read some mineralogy and cracked some rocks I've been wanting to crack for years. Yes the main rooms look like hell. But I've found the days I keep them nicely tidy nothing fun gets done.
