As far as the news/science media was concerned, HRT was ok, then for a while it wasn't, then it's ok again and people understand it better. I've been on it for years since a hysterectomy in my mid-40s, too young for menopause, and for various reasons stay on it. Hold the course if you make a decision based on sound reasoning, and ignore anything coming out of the federal government for the next four years. And no more Chat GPT stuff, please.

To refine the information about the intensity of this mystery skunk episode—it's not like the full-blown burning tires dog-hit-in-the-face shot of skunk squirt; after spraying Skunk Odor Remover and mopping it's still strong, but it's like what the house can smell like after you burn toast, but with the mammalian bouquet added to the smell, and far more durable. Maybe the dog ate a skunk and this is the output? ;-)

The Harvest Gold kitchen sink has left the property and several other things will go out on the front porch for an early evening pickup. I handed off various fruits and vegetables to my daughter, sent home some salad and babaghanouj with the ex, along with tomatoes, and the tomato hedge in the yard is looming, looking like it's going to send a whole bunch of ripe fruit this way this week. Time for some canning or cooking and freezing. The good thing about that wall of tomatoes is that there will be enough to process (canning) in large batches to make it worth having a pan of boiling water going for several hours in a house that is running the air conditioner full-tilt because it is 100o outside. It's a busy process of harvesting and using or giving away (and not wasting).
