patty, when I had a rental last year I wanted to make a couple of changes and hunted for the manual, found stuffed in a cubby in the back. As you note, it came with auxiliary manuals. I had the vehicle for about 10 days so I spent an hour sitting in the garage figuring out how to tune the radio. I gave up on a couple of other adjustments and never got it to open my garage door.
I have a stack of things to offer on the buy nothing page, and this afternoon I responded to a freecycle request for a "standard front door." I happen to have a spare door leaning against the wall in the garage. It was kicked in in 2005 in a burglary; there is barely a mark, but since the insurance company would pay to replace it I put in a door I liked better and repaired the jamb. Over the years it has served as a table when set across saw horses; I've offered it and won't miss it (and since I don't think there is a standard door size, I sent him the measurements).
