For pet owners, hindsight is the best way to realize that this was the case, and she's not there yet. For pet sitters who don't live 24/7 with the animal, it is a bit more clear. Whatever he eats, I'll be sure he's comfortable, and call the vet to take him in if I must.

My garden is the fussy spot in activity at home right now. I'm considering getting out some of the frost cover, a lightweight translucent white non-woven fabric and putting it over the cucumbers part of the day. The shade would help avoid some of the crispy leaves.

The front panel on the fridge was back down to a cool and normal temperature this morning after slowly cooling since the compressor fan is running again. I pushed it back into place but will check regularly. If it happens again I'll call a service tech to swap out that fan. There was a lot of dust and crud behind it, but now that is cleaned up.
