The inspiration for Louise came from a line scrawled on a bathroom wall in NY's Greenwich Village. The rest of the story comes from Paul's imagination. One of my favorite songwriters, and one of my favorite singers. I spent many a night trading songs and listening to him sing Jimmie Rogers and Hank Williams songs in The Kettle of Fish after hours.
