Well the setups I've had were good but they weren't quite there.

When I got the D-18 new, the action was perfect (for me). No matter where on the board or what chord, it would sound perfectly in tune.


Then I committed a cardinal sin: I messed with it without first measuring relief and 12th fret action, and it's never been the same since.

So that's what I'm trying to do, get it as close as I can to what it was, and I'm trying myself 'cos I've an idea when it'll 'feel' right.
