And early this morning, I went to the front door, wondering why I had not yet heard my canine friend's usual "Okay, I'm finished, you can let me back in," bark. When I opened the front door, I noticed he was turned towards the woods that border our back yard, tail wagging a mile a minute and a huge smile on his face. "What in the world....?" I thought. Stepping out onto the patio, I heard what he was wagging at. The Winter Wrens, who have the sweetest, chattiest little song, have returned to our trees and were serenading him.
