I remember a little bit of a 19th century fraternity song to this tune. It was sung at Bowdoin College in the State of Maine. All I have in my head is the chorus:Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah for old Phi Chi [pronounced Kai]/ Hurrah, hurrah, and may she never die/ When pluck beats luck and Prex is stuck and profs are high and dry/ Phi Chi is in her ancient glory.
The lyrics describe the hazing rituals that pledges had to endure to become brothers.
