Art:I think the books you have are The Poetical Works of (Henry Lawson / Banjo Paterson), collections put up by Angus & Robertson, major publishers of both Lawson's and Paterson's poetry ... in The Bulletin magazine. They published extensively in other magazines as well as bringing out several books.

My main reference set of Henry Lawson's poetry (apart from Chris Kempster's Songs from Henry Lawson is the 3-volume set by Colin Roderick. Admittedly, this has all the versions and variants as well as commentary and background. (And I have the boxed sets that Murray mentions ... and pretty much the same old ones you have as well.)
