Big Tim, there is a Decca Ace of Clubs album from the early 60's called Irish Rebel Songs, with a picture as described by Jimmy C. Enoch Kent sings two songs on this, one of which is the "Smashing of the Van" - these tracks could be your single, compiled on this album.
