my dad couldn't open a tin of beans unaided, because he had never had to... his idea of cooking was turning the cooker on below pots of food while the women were off at church.....

my 7 year old son (and my 5 year old daughter) can both cook simple lunches..... by the time they're teenagers I might be able to get my dinner made for me......*grin*
