I do a lot of the cooking and I like it. All my children can cook and my wife can as well. It's just a matter of who gets home first, starts the dinner etc. Whoever cooks does not clean up so sometimes there is a competition to do the cooking as no one likes to clear things away. The guy sounds like a useless twit, probably for him chips and salsa is a treat. But I bet he takes over when there is a barbeque, with a beer in one hand and a hamburger lifter in the other.
