kendall - my sister can read. she cannot cook. she CAN (and has) burn(t) water; can make syrup or rock from a "no fail" fudge recipe -but not fudge; and is one of the few people I know that fails with Instant Pudding Mix. Given a few days notice she can make a salad - but it takes her hours - and if she didn't buy the dressing bottled then you don't want to eat it. After several years of trying, she did finaly learn to make Campbell's tomato soup in an edible fashion.
